Apply for an IPO on Mero Share.

An IPO is when a company first sells its shares to the public. Here is how to apply from your phone or computer.

  1. Check what you need

    • A DEMAT account and a Mero Share login
    • A bank account in your own name, with your bank's C-ASBA service
    • Your CRN number from your bank (ask your bank if you don't have one)
    • Your Mero Share transaction PIN
  2. Log in to Mero Share

Go to meroshare.cdsc.com.np, choose Aakashbhairab Securities Limited as your depository participant, then enter your username and password.

  3. Open the IPO list

Go to My ASBA and open Apply for Issue. Open issues are listed with their closing dates. Choose the company and press Apply.

  4. Fill in your application

Select your bank and account, then enter how many units (kitta) you want. Most IPOs need at least 10 units, in multiples of 10. Enter your CRN number and tick the declaration.

The bank blocks (holds) the amount in your account until the allotment. It is not taken unless you are allotted shares.

  5. Confirm with your PIN

Press Proceed, enter your 4-digit transaction PIN, and press Apply. You can see the application under Application Report.

  6. Check the result

After the issue closes and shares are allotted, check the result at iporesult.cdsc.com.np or in Mero Share. Allotted shares arrive in your DEMAT account; if you weren't allotted, the bank releases the blocked amount.
